2007 Herbicide Treatment On August 8, 2007, Newman Lake was treated for Eurasian watermilfoil. Public notices and letters were sent to Newman Lake area businesses and residences within a quarter mile radius of the upcoming herbicide treatment areas. Approximately 22 acres were treated with 2,4-D Amine(liquid) and 7 acres with 2,4-D Ester(granular). To view or print the notice and map, please access the following links.
